During her career as a Physiotherapist, Mikayla has worked with children with a wide range of conditions including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, childhood cancer, neuromuscular disease, complex conditions and musculoskeletal conditions such as torticollis and biomechanical concerns. She enjoys finding creative and fun ways to motivate children to move and achieve their goals, whether it be in their home, local playground, school or local swimming pool. As an elite athlete playing football for the Western Bulldogs Women’s VFL side, Mikayla values the importance of maximising the opportunity for participation and inclusion in physical activity for children of all abilities.
Mikayla is compassionate, empathetic and respectful. She enjoys working with families from diverse backgrounds to integrate therapy into daily routines and finding creative ways to make therapy fun!
