Our Physiotherapists use a 'strengths based', family centred approach when working with children and their families. They are trained in various standardised assessments which can be used to gain a deeper understanding of gross motor skills and development, to guide intervention and when eligible, support applications for Early Intervention funding. Some of the assessments our Physios may use include the Alberta Infant Motor Scale, the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination, the Movement ABC and Prechtl's General Movements Assessment.
Appointments can be made using the button below. We are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There is plenty of parking on Somerville Rd outside the clinic and in surrounding side streets (Gamon St and Regent St). Referrals are not essential, but it is helpful to have reports from your child’s Paediatrician, GP, or other healthcare providers prior to your appointment to make the appointment time as productive as possible.
